Prawn Noodles

Ingredients
Gravy
1 kg beef with bones
300g fresh prawns
1 piece sweet potato
4 table spoon ground dried chili
1 large onion, ground
1 inch ginger, pressed
1 cup peanut sauce powder
5 table spoons MH Mohd Chili Sauce |
Other Ingredients
2 packets yellow mee
sawi
2 cups bean sprout
Tahu, fried and thinly sliced
Kueh cucur udang, sliced
Boiled eggs cut in two
Pickled green chili
sliced chinese parsley and spring onion
fried onion
sliced lime |
Directions
- Boil the beef with bones for one hour, then add ground chili, onion
and ginger, and continue boiling.
- Separately boil the prawns. When cooked, add the prawn water to the
beef. Put the prawns aside.
- Cut the sweet potato into small pieces and place in the boiling pot,
until the sweet potatoes have completely broken down and the beef is
soft.
- Add the peanut sauce. add salt, sugar and flavouring. If you prefer a
thick gravy, add more peanut sauce powder and a few pieces of cream
crackers
- Boil water in a pot. Add in the mee, sawi and bean sprout. Take out
after two minutes, drain and serve in a suitable bowl
- Add in the other ingredients and pour in the hot gravy.
